KhodiStays was born out of a simple observation: while Kenya has some of the most beautiful and diverse accommodations in Africa, local property owners often struggled to gain visibility on international platforms dominated by global chains and foreign listings.
Founded in 2021 by a team of Kenyan entrepreneurs with backgrounds in hospitality and technology, KhodiStays set out to create a platform exclusively for Kenyan properties - from luxury beachfront villas in Diani to cozy apartments in Nairobi and safari lodges in Maasai Mara.
Our mission was clear: to showcase the best of Kenyan hospitality while providing property owners with a fair, transparent platform that prioritizes their success.
